Review of Bright Star (2009) by Helena M — 18 Apr 2011

I had been anticipating this movie for ages and so perhaps that's why I'm feeling so disappointed. It was overly long for the storyline considering that we were plunged into some scenes without any real background or development in many of the supporting characters.

However, in saying that I was impressed with Abbie Cornish, Ben Whishaw and Paul Schneider so the casting was not an issue...they were all very good in their roles and Keats' poetry will bring enduring pleasure to many.
