Review of Bright Star (2009) by Tiffany B — 02 Jul 2012
A fim full of interesting ideas that really needed either a differnt director or a different screenwriter to address the problems that it has with rhythm and pacing. The performances are good and the tone of the film is right, but it is a film that demands more patience than it should.
With such fascinating characters at the heart of the film, BRIGHT STAR could have been something special. As it is, it is more expository than explosive.
