Interesting take on an over used plot "dirty cops". I loved the fantasy just hated the lack of details as to how the world became that way. But once I stopped focusing on what I wanted to see and watched the movie for what the director was trying to highlight; which in my opinion was the police corruption in a world that has become so different.

Toss in some fantasy and you have the perfect nontraditional albeit predictable police corruption movie. And honestly what movie isn't predictable? So many storylines and plots have been reimagined in cinema; for a person like myself whose seen over 1500 movies ranging from the golden era of cinema until now; this movie is very unique and I think it's uniqueness is overshadowed by the distaste moviegoers have for the Smith family.
