BRIGHT is a fun adventure romp that successfully marries Buddy Cop and High Fantasy tropes in an urban fantasy action fest.
As you can see from the Audience Score and the the critics' Tomatometer, this is a movie that critics didn't understand because it's major goal was not to be a hard-hitting copy drama, nor a social commentary, but rather just a FUN action/adventure story. I think most critics have forgotten that it's okay for a movie to be nothing more than that.
