Review of Bright (2017) by Detour3810 — 26 Dec 2017
Bright has a lot of flaws, but it's promise and potential is what keeps me engaged and hopeful with this modern day lord of the rings type fantasy. Bright addresses some of the social awkwardness and problems of our society and brings some raw emotion and grit along with it's world building.
Step inside for sheer entertainment and spectacle you will be rewarded come in expecting a philosophical story arc you will rip it apart the moment the film begins. Ayer seems to still be feeling out his identity in storytelling but this is a strong statement for Ayer who isn't afraid to still take risks after a lack luster suicide squad performance.
