For me this felt like a very serious and dark movie with a goofy plot. I can understand what they were going for but unfortunately for me it just does not work. The villain felt very over the top and the comedy was not great in this. Part of the problem was that they would be having a very serious and intense scene and they would try to put a joke in it which did not feel right and usually I found the joke to not be overly funny. The action for the most part was good. But the movie still felt a little messy and confusing at times. The best part about this movie was the acting. Will Smith and Joel Edgerton are really good. Overall it was a big disappointment.
