I'd seen the headlines for this before watching it and after it had finish I thought this isn't the worst film of the year its not terrible like critics had said. But then I compared it to the other films I've seen this year and couldn't think of anything which elevated it above the likes of Transformers or Pirates and couldn't.

There are not stand out performances or sequences and whilst there are some interesting ideas there never fully explored. No this isn't a terrible movie but it's not a very good one either.
