Of course the critics give a good story like this a shitty rating and review, but something like The Last Jedi which the audience was not fooled by, a 93%? I love Bright, it's politics are fitting and the humor is not out of place.
It is more emotionally resonant than The Last Jedi without the use of nostalgia or the loss of an amazing actress to help garnish the score. With an audience rating of 89 and a critic rating of 32 I think it's time we start ignoring the critics completely.
I feel like I just watched Lord of the Rings fast forwarded to our current day and age.
