Outstanding movie! Joel Edgerton does an excellent job and plays off Will Smith as if they were true friends. the humor isn't in your face funny like say Guardians of the Galaxy style... nor is it Hollywood buddy buddy- in fact its a bit Scorsese cop drama... but in the end it plays out and ranks up there with Lethal Weapon meets Lord of the Rings with a touch of Game of Thrones sprinkled in to make us want more!
What is it with the critics?? They fall head over heels for Star Wars Last Jedi, which everyone who actually paid money to see it thinks it's absolute crap and it's ruined the Star Wars franchise not to mention cannibalize any ounce of good riding that was remaining in the series... and the same critics lambasts this movie which has excellent character development outstanding action and very logical plot follow through from start to finish... those movies have attached a political and the critics love the kind of political in Star Wars and seem to hate the kind of political in this one?.. well all I can say is this was much better than Star Wars and I wish it was in the theaters!
