Some people will say this is hokey and corny, and maybe it is. But, that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. When I was waiting to watch it for the first time, I checked some reviews online...the ones I ran across, while not outright dismissing it, didn't glow about it either.
Still, I followed through, and I'm glad I did. One thing that is distracting, in my opinion, is the 'background' scenery - still, the action and story takes place in front of that same scenery, so it's not hard to ignore it.
