There are some fantastic individual scenes here, especially the one with the guy from the Wire talking about his father's job as a bathroom attendant. But overall its too disjointed and uneven to leave a lasting impression.
Nicholson barely speaks as the grad student but doesn't have a lot going on underneath either. Krasinski's final scene is good, but it's not enough to save the movie.
