Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Kate A — 30 Sep 2007
Ever since seeing The History Boys I've wanted to watch Brief Encounter, which they parody briefly in the former movie. It was awesome. I'm basically a romantic freak, Wuthering Heights is my favorite movie ever, and this movie struck a similar nerve (in a good way).
The acting is great and the dated speech and conventions are extremely entertaining.
