Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Gareth E — 28 Feb 2008
A fantastic film, about a romance which flourishes on a railway station the only catch is there both married to other people. This film still stands up as a great romance story and you feel genuine remorse for the lovers who are trapped by the morality and religous views held by society at this time.
Very humorous in places mainly down to the old fashion langauge and values used. An Absoloute must see for anyone interested in cinema, a true classic, utterly timeless.
