Review of Brief Encounter (1945) by Lasse C — 30 Sep 2009
One of the great unfulfilled love stories of the last century - easily on par with Remains of the Day or Casablanca. The direction and the acting is for the most part phenomenal and the movie actually manages to walk a very fine line between mourning and joy.
This movie is proof that love can find you no matter where you are.
