Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Castle D — 15 Sep 2016
"Bridget Jones's Baby" comes across as a lazy attempt to cash in a franchise that we all know and love. Every performance seems "phoned-in" and after every line, it seemed like there was a pause for laughter, but there was no laughter. I can see why the movie is over 2 hours, and not 75 minutes. The only reason I'm giving this any stars, is that there is a laugh to be had. That laugh comes from how terrible the movie is.
