Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Aliza H — 25 Sep 2016

I love Bridget Jones, but found myself somewhat disappointed with this movie. The actors didn't have the same chemistry as they did in the first. The reason the first two movies worked was because Hugh Grant's character was not nice which made Darcy look like a peach.

Although I like Patrick Dempsey's character, he was too much of a good guy and made Darcy not as appealing. I love Colin Firth and the Darcy character, but I actually started rooting for the other guy.

Everyone was pleasant and got along, not what you would expect from Bridget Jones. It was cute, but really disappointing to a fan.
