Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Jane D — 07 Oct 2016

The acting was on par for a Bridget Jones movie. The story was kind of dumb actually. I mean not because it couldn't be good but because they tried to incorporate too much into 2 hours. They were playing catch up for 10 years since the last movie was made while trying to add new content into the storyline and make Daniel disappear since Hugh Grant didn't sign on to be in this movie but they had to have a replacment character take his place or it just wouldnt be Bridget Jones so they introduced a new character.

It just wasn't written smoothly. It took me until about halfway through the movie to get over the fact that the last movie ended where Mark and Bridget were happily getting married and what the hell, we have no idea what happened but they're not even together and you have no idea how they even broke up or why until 1 hour into the movie?!
