Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Joanna M — 22 Oct 2016
Whilst there are laugh out loud moments in this movie, and the 'get me to the hospital to have a baby' scene is one of the funniest ever recorded, it is ruined by the foul language, which for some reason, UK comedies increasingly have, despite the UK population not being known for excessive swearing! Renee Zewellger, looks tired and faded which is fine, she's allowed to age (although not to look wooden, which she does at times and makes you wonder about botox etc).
. but she was a 40 yr old CHARACTER acting like a 20 year old.. which was very awkward.. what was cute for the 20 year old, is painful for the older character. Very watchable, and serious eye candy for us ladies, but the foul language ruins it.
