Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Rina H — 05 Dec 2016

The movie "Bridget Jones's baby" is the culmination of the famous movie series. This is a new movie in the series which was released for the first time in 11 years. I went to the theater to watched this movie because of the high recommendation of my friend, and it was a good choice for me.

First of all, I had a fun even I haven't watched the rest of the series. The main character is "Bridget Jones" who became 43 years old with no boyfriend. In the story she finds a handsome and kind man "Jack", and also her ex-boyfriend "Mark". Her heart wavers between those men, and the decision which Bridget makes at the end of the story is the most exciting part of the film. This story is not only a comedy but has a reality in the character's feeling, and this is why I liked this movie.

Moreover, the cast of the main characters are also the important part of this movie for me. The actor who played the role of Mark is Colin Firth, and he is one of my favorite actors since I watched the movie "The King's Speech". His role in "Bridget Jones's Baby" is so different from "The King's Speech", so it was really attractive for me.

Lastly, the soundtrack was also the interesting thing which attracted me in this movie. One of my favorite songs "Thinking out loud" is used in the movie, and what is more, Ed Sheeran, who is singing this song, played a role of himself in the story! I was so excited when I found this. Of course, the theme song of this movie, "Still Falling For You" is also making a good effect on the story. It was really matching to the Bridget's feeling at the end of the story.

A lots of attractive features in this movie satisfied me, and also made me want to check the other movies of series "Bridget Jones's Diary". Plot, Cast, Soundtrack, all of these things are working effectively on the movie. I think this movie is worth watching, and it can be fun whoever you go with, your friends or your family. I want to give full stars for "Bridget Jones's Baby"!
