I did wonder if Bridget Jones Baby would be as entertaining as the first movie in this series. It ticked all the boxes that have me shaking with laughter. Everything about this movie works, the storyline, the acting, the timing. If I found myself in similar circumstances as Bridget Jones, I doubt I would be laughing. The painful drama of others is always more hilarious than our own embarrassing moments. I don't pay money to analyse the plausible connection between fiction and real life. I go to cinemas to be entertained.
