Review of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) by Becca W — 18 Jul 2010
This is one of those sequels that had to contrive a story line in order to get a movie. There's no reason why Bridget and Mark shouldn't be happy together so the movie throws all sorts of random x-factors in as a way to pry them apart and create drama.
The only one that works is Bridget's inherent self-doubt. They should have stuck with that.
