Review of Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) by Tim O — 23 Jul 2010
I kept thinking, "Wow! Renee Zellweger really went all out to make herself look unattractive for this movie." It's not just the weight--although there's a lot there to love--it's the hair, the complexion, .
.. everything. Part of me thinks this is pretty cool, especially since I often rail about how impossibly beautiful most leading men and women look on screen, but part of me found it downright distracting.
Plus, the story just isn't as good as the first one. I thought BJ's Diary was a little slow, but this one really drags in spots.
