Although a fairly funny romantic film it is, it isn't consistantly funny, and sometimes just drags on like it will never end, and i've heard that it didn't stick to the second book, and that the second book was supposed to be funnier than the first book.

renee zellweger is good, but colin firth is furthering his career as an emotionless actor, and hugh grant was just annoying as the smarmy daniel. overall, it was pretty average.
