Review of Bridge to Terabithia (2007) by Ezras H — 30 Aug 2011

Bridge to Terabithia is a beautiful family movie. Having never even heard of the book, that plot twist really took me by surprise. I definitely am not going to give it away though because the film overall is a magical experience that is great for the whole family to enjoy.

I think the performances from Josh Hutcherson and Annasophia Robb really steal the show here. Though the storyline is also great as well. It did make me laugh that they made the giant troll resemble the school bully.

There are only a few movies out there that can make me cry (like The Fountain). However, this is definitely one of them. I might be one of the few to say this, but I think this is a masterpiece of family entertainment.
