THIS FILM IS AWFUL. The characters are just annoying, the plot was boring, the visuals costed maybe $26.83, and it's so over-the-top fantastical. The credit it deserves is for what it was trying to do, and sometimes succeeding in some parts like the death scene.
Also, the acting by the kids were... (sigh) fantastic.
