Review of Bridge to Terabithia (2007) by Paulk. — 19 Feb 2007
For everyone who's seen the trailers/tv spots, be careful: Narnia this is not. The studio tricks you into believing this is an action packed fantasy film...a clever device to lure you in. Once I figured out the rouse, I was a little bummed, but Anna Sophia Robb's winning character Leslie drew me in and allowed the major plot point toward the end to elevate what could have been mediocre at best.
I would have loved to have seen this when I was in grade school. Parents could do far worse.
