Bridge of Spies gives a different and refreshing type of story from this era with the lovable Tom Hanks and Mark Rylance who perfectly show their characters through their subtle and real performances. Spielberg crafts the film perfectly with great visuals as he steers you often away from the typical action and sets up the world and situations through his various camera cuts or the way he directs our leads that make for a great story of morals and determination.
