Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Lasse G — 07 Apr 2016

I'm a huge Spielberg fan and I love most of his films, so it was inevitable that I was going to love "Bridge of Spies." I just didn't know how much I was going to love it. This movie is absolutely fantastic.

While it doesn't give anything new and groundbreaking to the cinematic experience, it's still a masterpiece in style, direction and acting. The structure and plot is really good and you can always follow the story of the film.

Spielberg shows off his intense skills once again when it comes down to capturing the moment. Tom Hanks is amazing, as always, but the one who really impressed me was Mark Rylance as Rudolf Abel. He was extraordinary in this movie.

This was one of his first acting jobs in America and he nailed it. A completely Oscar-worthy performance!
