Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Robert L — 09 Jul 2016
A Cold War thriller without any fighting and told nearly entirely through dialogue. Who'd think that would make for a great film? But in the hands of Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, it is electric.
Mark Rylance deserves special mention for single-handedly upstaging Tom Hanks in all his scenes. A seemingly impossible feat which he pulls off with ease. Extraordinary film.
