Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Xanatar — 22 Dec 2015
Steven Spielberg at his best. This movie does not require tons of CGI to mask a non existent plot, it just tells a gripping and unsettling story about a time that is supposed to be long gone - and with the rise of tensions between the west and the east could easily come again: The Cold War.
More directors should stick to "what is the story and what needs to be told" instead of "I have some ideas about the story, it will fit together after we have done the post production.
