Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Brent_Marchant — 11 Nov 2015
A first-rate suspenseful spy thriller/historical drama in the grand tradition of epic Cold War tales. Director Steven Spielberg has produced one of his best films in ages, avoiding the bloated, tedious style characteristic of his more recent efforts.
With an excellent ensemble cast and a top-flight script from the Coen Brothers, this one is a flat-out winner and sure to be a strong awards season contender.
