Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Brett F — 24 Feb 2016
Bridge of Spies surprised me. I'm not one for period thrillers where negotiations and a lot of talking take place, but this film did something different that worked, but I can't explain it. Indie wire predicts Steven Spielberg and Mark Ryland will get an Oscar nomination and I hope so, especially for Ryland, his Rudolph Abel is such an innocent, caring guy you feel his pain.
Great film and very Oscar heavy.
