Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Alfonso D — 10 Feb 2016
There was a time when Spileberg was sinonimus of a "movie with an interesting premise": Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, The Terminal, just to name a few. But his last works: "Horse of War", "Lincoln" and this one; are just not interesting movies.
They are just stories, nothing out of this world. If you read the title" Bridge of Spies" and the plot, it is only that: the story of a lawyer who arranges an exchange of spies in a bridge. No twists, no surprises, no suspense, no drama.
That´s all. Anyway I am still a big fan of Spielberg's style of direction, but I think he must be more careful when he chooses his projects.
