Other than Lincoln, Steven Spielberg's best movie in a decade or more!
Steven Spielberg can sometimes be a victim on his own success. He makes very few bad movies, so we grow accustomed to his perennial nominations and technical achievements. I am completely guilty of taking him for granted like this. But what Spielberg has crafted here is an exquisite movie. It's beautifully shot, splendidly acted, surprisingly funny, and completely engaging. It seems rather uncelebrated since it's release, but this is nothing less than a classic.
