Review of Bridesmaids (2011) by Malim — 27 May 2011
This was a **** funny movie. Different than I expected, a unique balance between raunchy slapstick comedy and real-life, relatable issues and relationships that made me glad I am no longer single.
What I also realized was that there are no movies that show girls (women) doing and saying the things that these women did and said. I liked it because this is how I act with my friends and my sisters, these are the types of things we say to each other, the things we talk about. And yeah, its not some deep, meaningful **** its just life and the way we make each other laugh and get over awful, ****ty things. It just felt really good to laugh with these women who were like me and my friends.
