While a nice idea, 'Bridesmaids' is nothing more than a 'Hangover' inspired story wrapped around a typical chick flick. While a few jokes here and there make for a good laugh, the film is uninteresting and completely predictable.
Rent if you wish but honestly I'd suggest skipping.
