BRIDESMAIDS is a Frat Pack comedy that actually takes the time to develop its characters and views them as something beyond a handle for jokes to hang on to. That this movie does it to its female characters is downright radical in today's comedy environment.
Credit to this must go to the script co-written by Kristen Wiig, who reveals herself as a promising character actress in addition to the hilarious comedienne we've all come to know from SNL.
