I don't like gross out comedies revolving around really stupid and unpleasant people when they're male dominated, so a female dominated one doesn't strike me as either entertainment genius or feminist triumph.

Probably the worst aspect of this movie for me is that I decided midway through the movie that I really hated the main character played by Kristen Wiig. All of her misfortune during the course of the movie was well earned, while her redemption was more of a function of Hollywood formula deus ex machina.

There are some laughs here, and some obvious talent, but you have to sit through a pretty awkward and painful ride to encounter them.
