Review of Bridesmaids (2011) by Jack S — 22 Mar 2014
Annie- "I"mmmm readdyyyy, to paaaarrrtaaay"!
Doesn't Kristen Wiig steal the show? No, but that's a good thing. She started from Snl skits up to a rising movie career, but it happened a little late, but still it doesn't matter. She can act all by herself, but I liked the supporting cast. Maya Rudolph, her partner in crime. Rose Byrne, her arch rival. Jill Clayburgh, her big problem. And the other bridesmaids, who don't seem to get a break. Annie also can't seem to get a man in her life. Chris O Dowd who played an unlike performance as her secret love, but his performance surprisingly worked. Bridesmaid isn't your best comedy, but it's close to one of the best "woman of comedy" movie, but also has a appealing force by director Judd Apotow, who is the master at generating pounds of laughs one at a time.
