Review of Bridesmaids (2011) by Laura D — 27 May 2015
Reasonably funny, but it's easy to get tired of the unsympathetic lead. The fact that it's a female version of an annoying male character type doesn't make it any better. I was quite impressed with how funny they managed to make some of the gross out humor since that's usually something I find offputting.
Melissa McCarthy is probably the best thing about it as an absolutely crazy bridesmaid with the bizarrest conspiracy theories and lies.
