Review of Brideshead Revisited (2008) by Ching T — 02 Sep 2008
Matthew Goode, what a discovery!! he's like a better looking younger version of Rupert Everett if that's even possible? (possible because Matthew appears to be clearly heterosexual despite his character's dalliance with the other team.
) The movie was slow, and has that period look of Antonement, but it was tragic to first see the decay of the rich family as well as Matthew's character's realization of his own loss of innocence at the end of the movie.
...that his love of everyone and everything associated with Brideshead was merely decadence in decay.
