Review of Brideshead Revisited (2008) by Kimber C — 19 Aug 2008

I was very disappointed. I like period films and really wanted to see this one. However it lacked depth. (Sounds hoity-toity) but itâ??s true. You never care for the characters. Emma Thompson was good, but had little scream time.

Julia was badly cast I feel. Its very long and you wonder why they wasted so much time in certain parts that did not help the story. There is one character that served absolutely no purpose, he could have been written out and the film would have been just the same!
