Hm, I'm sure the book must be more nuanced - as is always the case - but the film was interesting in the portrayal of Charles' relationships with Sebastian and Julia. I'm not quite sure I buy the authenticity of his feelings, but I think that's the point.
This was good, but I think my expectations were higher based on a couple of reviews I had read.
