Have read the book, watched the BBC Mini series and now the Movie. in some ways, I prefer the film.
Its long- well over 2hrs. '.
A very different Sebastian than the one in the BBC series. . I prefer this Sebastian .- his gay sexuality and alcoholises are well documented. Liked Emma Thompson as Lady Marchmain. Film deals with their obsession with Catholicism and problems with the Aesthete - Charles Ryder/.
