Review of Brideshead Revisited (2008) by Paul K — 26 Jan 2009
Not knowing anything about the source material or TV mini-series from the 80's I actually enjoyed this film. It's a beautifully shot period piece about forbidden love (aren't they all), and family secrets in the time between WWII.
Nice performances and a good attention to detail made it a good experience. Can be a bit long, though.
