Review of Brideshead Revisited (2008) by Ruby R — 19 Feb 2009
Emma Thompson and Michael Gambon delivered stellar performances as ever and the scenery was stunning, but the rest of the movie left much to be desired. The themes of forced faith and homosexuality were quite well explored but you came away from the movie feeling like you had missed something substantial or that there was no story or point to it.
Disappointing.
