Review of Bride Wars (2009) by Lo & — 24 Mar 2011
Liv and Emma have been friends forever. So, when they get engaged by their boyfriends they begin making plans for both their weddings. When a mix up occurs where both their weddings will be on the same day that is when the war of the brides to be begin.
This is one of the most dumb chick flicks ever. Why couldn't they just agree and be happy that they're both having their weddings on the same day? They are best friends after all. Wouldn't a best friend be happy about that? No. Instead it's an ugly, mean-spirited ordeal between two women who want the "perfect" wedding. It gave me a fucking headache.
Now I didn't have to watch this film, but it was on HBO and I noticed that RocknRolla was going to be on right after it so I figured what the hell, I'll wait it out. Probably the only high point was when Anne Hathaway did a sexy dance.
