Yes, it really is terrible. However, its overall naffness is also what lends it a certain B. Movie charm. Lugosi looks frail in what would prove to be his last picture and as one would imagine the acting, camerawork and, well, pretty much everything else is dire.
Despite this its worth watching, has an endearing quality and is all the more interesting having seen Tim Burton's biopic 'Ed Wood' first.
