This is what a sequel should be, rather than trying to be bigger than the original it simply tries to match it. This one this one takes place a few months after the break out in the hospital as the two Doctors continue on their strange reanimation experiments. This time the pair try to build a woman from spare body parts of dead patients, sound gross? You betcha it is and it leads to some laugh and vomit inducing scenes.

The acting is good like the original it is better than most scary movies, this one is less about gruesome kills and more about the characters but don't get me wrong there are a few nasty death scenes. Jefferey Combs still hit the mark as Dr.West and Bruce Abbot is still good as the doctor torn between an helping a friend and what is right morally.

Brian Yunza who wrote the first movie takes over as director in this one bringing a little bit of a different style than the last movie. The movie is of course filled with tons of gore as one would expect from horror movie writer and director Brian Yunza. The movie is good laugh filled fun if you can stomache it.

The movie is gory, I've said this a few times but really the last 15 minutes is on par with the famously gory Peter Jackson movie Dead Alive. You got dead bodies falling apart piece by piece and characters being bitten.

The movie should put you in the halloween movie mood with its gory ridden goodness.
