Review of Bride of Re-Animator (1990) by Ryan S — 20 Sep 2010

Not a bad sequel, but it doesn't live up to the original. It works well at continuing the last one and continuing all the research they did whilst introducing new characters, new relationships and new conflicts.

But there's nothing that really pulls you in like the first, the depth just doesn't seem to be there and then there's all these subplots that never really come together properly and the ending is quite disappointing and leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

This one also lacks a lot of the humor the first one had, as well as the shock factor. It's really just like the first but watered down and with a lesser plot. It's worth the watch if you're a fan of a first one, but it could be a better follow-up to that one for sure.
